Synopsis
Mia is a barmaid in a London pub when a mysterious woman named Marshanda bursts in, pursued by violent thugs, speaking no English and carrying a secret worth killing for. What follows is Wales Interactive's first action-comedy FMV: the viewer steers Mia through brawls, chases, and escalating loyalty tests, with martial-arts choreography courtesy of co-developer Dead Pixel Productions and fail states that can end the story abruptly for a wrong move. Paul McGann, the Eighth Doctor of Doctor Who, plays the villain Walsh with relish, and because Marshanda never speaks English on screen, the central friendship runs entirely on physical comedy and the player's choices. An in-game story tree maps every path already taken, encouraging replays toward the four distinct endings. It is the broadest and most crowd-pleasing film in the Wales Interactive catalogue, a live-action beat-em-up where the fists are real and the decisions are yours.
How the Branching Works
Mia and the Dragon Princess features 4 distinct endings. At key decision points the film pauses and presents your options, your choice determines which scene plays next, reshaping alliances, outcomes, and the story's resolution. With 83 minutes of total footage spread across these branches, a single viewing reveals only a fraction of what the film contains. Replay to discover hidden subplots, alternate character arcs, and endings that only unlock when you choose differently.
