Privacy Policy for Treezy Play

Treezy Play is an interactive movie streaming service operated by Treezy Technologies Inc., 16192 Coastal Hwy, Lewes, Delaware 19958, United States. This policy covers the Treezy Play mobile apps for iOS and Android (package com.treezy.play) and the website at https://treezyplay.com.

Account information. When you create an account we collect your email address and display name. You can sign up with an email and password, with Google, or with Apple. Authentication is handled by Firebase Authentication. If you use Sign in with Apple and choose to hide your email, we only ever receive Apple's relay address.

Story activity. We record how you move through a title: the choices you make, your progress, the endings you reach, and the titles you like or save. This is what lets you resume a story and see what you have already unlocked.

Subscription status. Purchases are processed by Apple and Google, not by us. We never see or store your card number or billing address. We receive a record of whether your subscription is active, which we manage through RevenueCat.

Camera. Some scenes simulate a video call with a character, and your camera preview appears on screen during those scenes. This video is processed on your device only. It is never uploaded, transmitted, recorded, or stored by us.

Microphone. During call scenes you can answer out loud. Speech is converted to text on your device. Only the resulting text is sent to our servers, so we can work out how the story should respond. We do not store the audio.

Device and diagnostic data. We use Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics to understand which features are used and to diagnose crashes. This includes device model, operating system version, app version, a Firebase installation identifier, and an advertising identifier. We use the advertising identifier for analytics only.

We use this information to run your account, to save and restore your place in a story, to deliver the content your subscription entitles you to, to fix bugs and improve the product, and to reply to you when you contact support.

Treezy Play does not show ads. We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for advertising or for their own marketing.

We share data only with the service providers that make the product work, and only so far as they need it to perform that job: Google Firebase (authentication, database, analytics, crash reporting, push notifications), RevenueCat (subscription status), and Google Cloud (hosting and content delivery). We also disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect the rights and safety of our users.

You can access and correct your profile information in the app. You can revoke camera and microphone access at any time in your device settings, and the story will still play. You can turn off notifications in your device settings.

You can delete your account at any time from the You screen in the app, or by writing to us. Full instructions, including exactly what is deleted and what is retained, are at https://treezyplay.com/delete-account.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights over your personal information, including the right to request a copy of it, to ask us to correct or erase it, or to object to certain processing. Write to hello@treezyplay.com and we will help.

We keep your account data for as long as your account exists. When you delete your account we remove your profile and story activity. Billing records are kept for up to 7 years because tax and accounting law requires it, and deletions reach our encrypted backups within 30 days.

Treezy Play contains mature themes and strong language, and it is not directed to children. The service is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has given us personal information, write to hello@treezyplay.com and we will delete it.

Data is encrypted in transit. Access to production systems is restricted to the people who need it. No service can promise perfect security, but we work to protect your information and to notify you if something goes wrong.

We are based in the United States and our service providers process data there. If you use Treezy Play from another country, your information is transferred to and processed in the United States.

We may update this policy as the product changes. When we do, we revise the effective date at the top of this page, and we tell you in the app or by email if the change is significant.
