Synopsis

In 1984, a young programmer named Stefan Butler begins adapting a sprawling choose-your-own-adventure novel into a video game for a leading software company. As the project consumes him, Stefan becomes increasingly paranoid that unseen forces are controlling his decisions, and he may be right. The viewer steers Stefan through a branching labyrinth of choices, from mundane morning routines to life-altering confrontations with his father, his therapist, and his idol Colin Ritman. Each path reveals different layers of conspiracy, madness, and metafictional commentary on free will, with some routes breaking the fourth wall entirely.
