Creating with Treezy Studio
Creator FAQ
Last updated July 6, 2026
Do I own my story?
Yes. Your story, characters, and creative decisions are yours. Publishing to Treezy Play grants Treezy a license to distribute the title in the catalog, it doesn't transfer ownership.
What does it cost to make a title?
The Studio is free during early access; you pay for what you generate. A full animatic draft is typically a few dollars; a fully video-generated title depends on scene count and model tier, budget models run cents per second of footage. Your project's budget meter shows spend in real time, with caps you control.
How long does review take?
Early access reviews are handled personally, usually within a few days. You'll see the state change from Submitted to In review to a decision, with notes if it's a rejection.
What content is allowed?
Broadly: strong storytelling for adults is welcome (our own flagship is a 17+ dark comedy), but every title must fit an App Store age rating honestly. Hard lines: no sexual content involving minors, no hate content, no content you don't have rights to, including real people's likenesses and copyrighted music. When in doubt, ask before you generate.
Can I upload my own footage instead of generating?
Yes, upload video per scene and the Studio transcodes it for streaming. Mixing filmed and generated footage in one title works too (that's how our flagship was made).
Can I use my own AI clips from other tools?
Yes, via the same upload path, the canvas doesn't care where a scene's video came from, only that it plays.
Do viewers pay for my title? Do I get paid?
During early access, titles are part of the free catalog while we build audience. Creator monetization (revenue share on premium engagement) is on the roadmap, early-access creators will be first in.
Android? Web player?
The catalog ships on iPhone today; Android is in development. Shareable preview links already play in any mobile browser.
Where do I sign in?
The Studio lives at studio.treezyplay.com. Early-access creators sign in with Google or Apple.
