Publishing, Review & Going Live

Every title in the Treezy Play catalog goes through the same pipeline: publish a version → submit it for review → approval → live. Here's each step.

1. Pass the readiness checklist

The Publish button runs a readiness check on your story and lists anything that would break the player experience, scenes without video, unreachable branches, dead-end wiring, missing interaction timing. Fix the list and publish; this creates a numbered, immutable version of your story.

You can keep editing after publishing, edits go into the next version, never the one under review.

2. Submit for review

On a published version you'll see its review status chip, starting at Draft. Hit Submit for review and it enters the queue.

3. Review states

If you're rejected

Rejections always come with written notes, what didn't work and what would change the decision. Fix, publish a new version (or amend), and resubmit. Rejection is feedback, not a verdict; most first submissions take a round of notes.

What review looks for

• The story plays start-to-finish on every major branch without stalls
• Interactions are answerable (readable labels, sane timers)
• Content fits the title's age rating and our content guidelines
• The title page (name, synopsis, cover) honestly represents the story

4. Going live

Approved versions are pushed live by the Treezy team. Your title appears in the Treezy Play catalog on iPhone, no app update required, ever. Publishing a later version goes through the same review, and the previous live version keeps playing until the new one replaces it.
