Creating with Treezy Studio

Generation, Models & Costs

Last updated July 6, 2026

Treezy Studio generates every layer of your film (script, images, video, voice, sound effects, and music) through a pipeline you control scene by scene.

Model tiers

The Studio routes work to the best model for the job, and you can see (and feel) the difference in cost:

  • Premium video (e.g. Runway), the top of the quality range, used by the Deep Cut pipeline for hero scenes.
  • Budget video (Veo Fast, Kling, Seedance), remarkably good, at cents per second. Perfect for drafts, secondary branches, and volume.
  • Voice, SFX & music (ElevenLabs), character voices from your casting profiles, scene sound, and scored music.

You don't have to pick models manually, the pipeline defaults are sensible, but everything is visible, and every generated asset records what made it and what it cost.

The animatic-first workflow (do this)

The single best habit in interactive filmmaking:

  1. Draft the whole story as an animatic, generated stills, voices, and music. Cost: a few dollars for an entire branching story.
  2. Play it on your phone. Fix story problems while they're cheap. A confusing choice costs nothing to rewrite at this stage.
  3. Promote scenes to full video selectively, hero path first, then the branches players hit most.

Generating full video for every branch of an untested story is the expensive way to discover your second act drags.

Budgets and caps

Every project has a budget ledger: estimates before generation, actuals after, running totals always visible on the production floor. Spending caps stop the pipeline before it exceeds what you've authorized, generation halts, nothing is charged beyond the cap, and you decide whether to raise it.

Regeneration and director's notes

Don't like a shot? Reject it with a note ("too dark, lose the handheld wobble"), the pipeline compiles your rejections into negative guidance so the retry actually addresses them. Scoped regeneration re-runs just one scene, branch, or asset without touching the rest of the film.

Consistency

Style DNA and voice profiles are enforced by automated consistency checks across every branch, including the rare ones, so a player who finds ending #27 sees the same film as one who took the golden path.
